The mission of Institutional Research, as the designated office of official data reporting and analysis for Brookhaven College, is to provide decision support and planning services to help the college fulfill its primary mission of instruction, and public service. Institutional Research is committed to providing campus leaders, faculty, staff, and students with timely, objective, and accurate information to help create a learning environment in which students can succeed academically, culturally, creatively and socially, by performing the following charge:
- Facilitate academic planning and fiscal management at the department, college and campus levels by designing useful and accessible information systems and documents.
- Ensure that Brookhaven College presents a consistent, accurate and reliable face to its external constituents by coordinating compliance and external data reporting.
- Communicate information to various college constituencies about its student and employee populations and its history.
- Make projections about the college’s future growth.
- Serve as a college resource for student and faculty research.
