Brookhaven College administered the Noel Levitz Student Satisfaction Survey during the Fall 1997 and Fall 2000 terms. The following broad observations are made between the two years.

Satisfaction

Top four items of satisfaction – more satisfied in Fall 2000 than in Fall 1997:

  1. Security staff respond quickly in emergencies.
  2. Students are notified early in the term if they are doing poorly in a class.
  3. Library staff are helpful and approachable.

Conclusions

Brookhaven College students overall appear to be as satisfied in Fall 2000 as they were in Fall 1997. Brookhaven College students appear to be less satisfied in the areas of Advising and Admissions. Several factors may have had an impact on student perception of these particular areas including:
