Recitals Feature Local and International Performers
Featuring music from around the world, the Recital Series at Brookhaven College returns for the fall semester. A wide variety of performers and music styles will be represented weekly at small concerts on the Brookhaven College main campus. The Recital Series takes place on Thursdays from 1:30 to 2:25 p.m. in Building D, Room D203, throughout September and October. The series is open to the public and features a variety of musical styles and instruments ranging from classical guitar to jazz to folk. The schedule of performers includes the following ensembles and individuals.
Sept. 4 - Woodland Trio Sharon Deuby, clarinet; Sharon Lacy, oboe; and Debbie Ragsdale, flute
Sept. 11 Roy Allen, Jr., alto saxophone Wesley Beal, piano accompaniment
Sept. 25 - Adam Miller, trumpet
Oct. 2 - Danny Pinson, trombone
Oct. 16 - "Beyond the Pale", Celtic music performance
Oct. 23 - Karin Schaupp, classical guitar
