Feb. 23-March 26, 2004
Ralph Trimmer’s works are a culmination of a career as artist illustrator and graphic designer spanning more than 20 years. The artist earned a bachelor of fine arts from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In the years since, he has produced countless works for agencies, corporations and institutions. Mr. Trimmer’s illustrations have been featured in magazines and chosen as dust jacket art. His work has been on display at the National Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass., and is on permanent loan to the future Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Ky. Trimmer is well-known for his tributes to athletes and firefighting and his work is accurate, detailed and realistic, often rendered in pencil, airbrush, and watercolor.
