“Timing” is All for Fall Theatre Performance
Farmers Branch, Dallas, TX  •  “All In the Timing,” a play by David Ives, opens the fall theatre season at the Performance Hall for Brookhaven College's School of the Arts, Oct. 14-24. An eclectic set of six one-act plays, “All In the Timing,” offers snappy comedy filled with wordplay and absurdity. It is likely to keep audiences smiling, laughing and thinking.

One tale revolves around the old joke about chimpanzees trapped at typewriters eventually re-creating Shakespeare's plays. Other scenes have washing machines that seduce men and Trotsky re-living 16 versions of his last day. Darise Error, new theatre professor at Brookhaven College, directs the play.

Shows are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. General admission is $6, student and senior adults are $4. Tickets are available at the School of the Arts Box Office at 972-860-4118. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday 1 to 5 p.m. Please note that occasional strong language and sexual innuendo may make this production inappropriate for some theatre-goers.

Theatre Brookhaven is a performance component of the School of the Arts. The Brookhaven College School of the Arts is funded in part by grants from the Town of Addison and the city of Carrollton. For information about the School of the Arts, contact Rodger Bennett, executive dean, at 972-860-4730.
