DALLAS – In a holiday concert, titled “Gloria Eclectica,” the Brookhaven College School of the Arts presents the Brookhaven Choral Society, 8 p.m., Dec. 9 in the Performance Hall.

Pieces from composers such as William Byrd, Paul Bassler, George Frideric Handel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will celebrate the “Gloria” through the ages. The choral society will perform music from the Renaissance, the Romantic period and through time all the way to the 20th century.

Windsong, a chamber ensemble made up of members of the Choral Society, will perform with Momentum Dance Company of Irving.

Melody Gamblin-Bullock, music professor at Brookhaven College, directs the 48-member Choral Society. The Choral Society has performed for more than a dozen years throughout the community and in collaboration with other groups including with the Texas Chamber Symphony, the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Chamber Orchestra.
