DALLAS – Fashion and folklorico are just two of the ways that Brookhaven College will celebrate International Day, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students and guests will celebrate the varying cultures of countries around the world.
The students from the International Club will dress in clothing and ethnic costumes from their home countries for a fashion show. There also will be information tables representing the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe. Dance troupes will show-off the variety of styles including the US Chin Woo Lion & Dragon Dance Group, Folklorico Ollimpaxqui Ballet Co. and the Middle Eastern Dance Troupe Rasks Halim. Gustavo Tolosa, Arts Academy director, also will give a performance creating “Musical Pictures from Argentina.”
