DALLAS – “Prelude to a Kiss,” by Craig Lucas is the final spring production for Theatre Brookhaven, April 26-May 5. This Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award®-nominated comedy follows the whirlwind romance of a couple whose wedding day is interrupted by a supernatural kiss.
Directed by Darise Error, the play focuses on what happens to the couple when a stranger congratulates Rita, the bride, with a kiss that sends both to new horizons and all involved on a mythical journey. This journey leads the stranger and the couple to discover both the fragility and strength of real love.
This presentation may not be suitable for all audiences. Shows are April 26-28 and May 3-5 at 8 p.m., and April 29 at 2:30 p.m. in the School of the Arts Performance Hall in Building C. General admission is $8; student and senior adults are $6. Tickets are available at the School of the Arts Box Office at 972-860-4118. Box Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Friday from 1 to 3 p.m.
