News at Brookhaven College

For Immediate Release through Nov. 1

DALLAS – Theatre Brookhaven will present the classic children’s tale “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” beginning Oct. 22 in the Performance Hall at Brookhaven College.

Adapted from the 1950 C.S. Lewis novel, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” follows the Pevensie children as they venture into a fantastical world filled with mythical creatures and evil queens.

The novel was translated into an Academy Award-winning film in 2005 with “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” Other books in Lewis’ “Narnia” series have been made into feature films as well.

The actors of Brookhaven College will raise the curtain Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. in the Performance Hall on campus, 3939 Valley View Lane in Farmers Branch. Other performances are Oct. 23-24 and 29-31 at 8 p.m., with matinee showings Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 at 2:30 p.m.
