DALLAS- Who knew Shakespeare could be so funny?

Spend an evening laughing as the Reduced Shakespeare Company shares the Bard's tales-all of them-in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) on Jan. 23. This fast-paced, hilarious show doesn't miss a beat as the Brookhaven College School of the Arts spring spotlight performance.

According to the Today Show, "If you like Shakespeare, you'll like this show. If you hate Shakespeare, you'll love this show!" The Reduced Shakespeare Company, RSC, has been featured on NBC's Today Show, CBS Sunday Morning, Entertainment Tonight, CNN's Showbiz This Week, and New Zealand's Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (they lost).

RSC, a comedic acting troupe that started in 1981, is best-known for its nine-year stint in Picadilly Circus in London, where they performed The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), The Complete History of America (abridged) and The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged). The troupe has created three other stages shows, as well as several television and radio programs.

Get tickets today to see the Reduced Shakespeare Company Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. in the Performance Hall at Brookhaven College, 3939 Valley View Lane in Farmers Branch.

Tickets for spotlight events are available three weeks prior to the performance. Prices for floor seating are $30 for adults and $25 for seniors and DCCCD staff/students. Balcony seating is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, with a special student rate available at just $8. Group rates are available.
