Study Spanish in Cuernavaca

Earn from three to eight hours of transferable credit in Spanish.

Live and study in Cuernavaca, Mexico
May 27-June 25.

A travel and immersion program takes students to Cuernavaca, Mexico. Rebecca Garcia, visiting scholar for Spanish, is offering a four-week program for students to earn from three to eight hours of transferable credit in Spanish during the 2005 Summer I session, May 27-June 25.

This course will allow students to study Spanish in an intense and concentrated manner at the Spanish Language Institute, SLI, in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Students will be totally immersed in the Spanish language and culture by:

  1. studying Spanish and living in an area where the first language is Spanish,
  2. staying in homes of Cuernavaca residents where only Spanish is spoken during the four-week course,
  3. being required to speak Spanish only at the Institute, and
  4. having the opportunity to use their Spanish on a daily basis.

Rebecca Garcia has registration information and additional details at 972-860-4828 for the academic credit Cuernavaca trip.
