Campus-based distance learning sections may have on-campus requirements, such as orientations, testing, or review sessions. These courses are offered in a variety of delivery formats including: Telecourse, Telecourse Plus, Online, and the Individualized Distance Learning course.
Dallas TeleCollege courses are offered complete from a distance, with no on-campus requirements. DTC sections are numbered as 9000-level sections. These courses are offered in two formats: Online or Telecourse Plus. DALLAS TeleCollege class schedule information is available at Dallas Telecollege.

Courses delivered using only computers and computer peripherals. Students are required to have Internet access and the latest version of a browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer).
Courses require viewer access to either local cable, KDTN public television or a VHS format videocassette player. Videocassettes may be leased through 1-800-325-3252 or http://direct.mbsbooks.com/dcccd.htm or accessed on campus.

Educational research shows that students who join a college club or organization tend to succeed in their studies and educational goals. The Student Programs And Resources Office (SPAR) offers extracurricular activities, such as student government and clubs and gives students opportunities to develop leadership skills.
The Student Programs And Resources Office, Room S201, is a unique, vital component of the learning experience at Brookhaven College. Through a wide variety of programs and special events, both in and out of the classroom, and off campus, SPAR encourages students to participate fully in college life. Some of the services offered include: guest speakers, performances, Student Leadership Institute, service learning, student ambassador program, lockers, student identification cards, student clubs and organizations, publicity for campus events, copy machine, computers, and bulletin board posting. The Health Center, located in Room S072 in the Student Services Center, provides first aid and over-the-counter medication. A variety of screening tests, health education and Health Insurance information is available.
