Tests can be used to measure students' understanding of course competencies. How would you like to do this with minimal effort? This session will demonstrate how to do just that, saving you time and effort because the feature eliminates the need for manual grading (with the exception of essays).
The facilitators will demonstrate how to create and post a test, which will be available online for students. The test will automatically be graded (with the exception of essay questions) and posted onto the gradebook.

Blackboard Basics provides the foundational skills to use the Blackboard course management system. We'll share tips you'll find useful as well as pitfalls to avoid. Quality Matters™ (QM) is a model for assessing and assuring the quality of online courses. It can also be an excellent resource for faculty to use when designing an online course or even a traditional course. All QM standards will be discussed and annotated. Find out how this distance learning model can benefit you and your students.
For Fall ’07, the eCampus Users’ Group will focus its time and attention on QM training. Subsequent QM standards will be addressed during spring ’08. The sessions will include the following:
