Accomplishments

Since its inception, PSSA has made strides in bettering the working environment for PSS employees.

PSSA has worked to get:

Tuition waivers for employees to take two credit or noncredit courses per semester within DCCCD
Health and vacation benefits for limited full-time employees
Pay options for employees who work less than 12 months
Educational stipends for employees who earn degrees while employed
A formal grievance policy
Improved leave policies
An improved employee evaluation system
