President’s Cabinet This senior level cabinet acts as a brain trust for the president, deliberates, and makes decisions concerning programs, personnel, buildings and committees. It is also the arena where potential problems and confidential, sensitive matters are discussed.

Budget & Planning Team Sub-committee: Core Facilities Group For renovations and remodeling at the campus level that do not require District decisions: regularly collect data on needed building renovations and remodels; act as a clearinghouse for requests on building renovations and remodeling; develop guidelines for projects that will be reviewed by the group; determine the disposition of requests for renovation and remodeling; provide summary reports and recommendations to the President’s Cabinet; communicate the disposition (either supported or rejected) and progress of requested projects to the campus.

Budget & Planning Team Sub-committee: Long Range Facilities Planning In preparation for development of the Comprehensive Improvement Plan for the DCCCD, the following responsibilities are assigned:
- collect college input on long range facilities needs;
- make an initial assessment of priorities and present results to the President's Cabinet for review;
- respond to the facilities master plan as proposed by the architects selected by the District;
- monitor and respond to the actions of the District architects/project managers in relationship to the initial priorities and project parameters; and
- provide insights and perspectives on possible re-prioritization of projects as the facilities master plan evolves.

Fund 12 Budget Advisory The committee is formed in accordance with Texas Education Code, 54.503 and 54.5031 to review budgets pertaining to the use of student representative services fees generated by currently enrolled student representatives and to advise college personnel on the usage of such monies to assure that student representative needs are adequately addressed. Uniform Recruitment and Retention Strategic Report Committee This committee was formed to respond to House Bill 1678, now codified as Texas Education Code 61.086. The purpose is to conduct an internal and external analysis to develop measurable recruiting and retention goals. Based on the results of the analysis, we will develop a marketing plan to attract, recruit and retain a diverse population. After the plan is implemented, we will monitor and adjust its ability to meet its goals.
