One of the goals of the Career Development Center at Brookhaven College is to help match your recruiting needs to the employment needs of our students. To accomplish this purpose, the center provides comprehensive resources, services and professional assistance to students and employers. The following services are available to assist you with your staffing needs.
The Career Development Center maintains daily updated listings of current full and part-time job openings. To list your open positions, complete our Job Posting Form and EOE form or send your own half-page notice with the following information:

Dallas County Community College District, DCCCD, online Job Listing Service - To list positions with all DCCCD campuses through the Internet job listing service, please submit your listing online at https://dcccd-csm.symplicity.com/employers.
Employers visit Brookhaven College, Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., to meet and interview students and share information about their companies. The recruiting schedule is by appointment only and allows each company to recruit no more than twice each week. To schedule a recruiting date, contact the Career Development Center at 972-860-4894. This is a free service.
When scheduling your date, you will be asked to provide information about your specific hiring needs. Any employment or company information you provide will assist candidates preparing for your visit. After recruiting, please let us know if you hire a Brookhaven College student.
Remember to bring the following when you recruit:
- a banner with your company name on it to hang from the table
- information about your company and about your available positions
- materials, give-aways, or wrapped candy to distribute
- applications, business cards

Students use our computers to access career planning resources, job listings and employer Web pages (PDF) on the Internet. If your company has a Web site, please inform us of the address so that we can add it to our list (PDF).
