Crime Statistics:On Site • Off Site • Table of Contents

The annual Campus Security Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning buildings or property owned or controlled by Brookhaven College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. These statistics are listed below broken down by offense, year and location.

In addition, the Campus Security Report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.

In keeping with federal legislation, “The Crime Awareness and Security Act of 1990” or “Clery Legislation,” “Title II, Public Law 101-542,” as amended, the following information related to these incidents is published annually, using the standardized format developed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s “Uniform Crime Reporting,” UCR, system.
