The exterior callboxes currently on the college grounds are in the process of being eliminated.

With the proliferation of cell phones, the callboxes are no longer the most effective means of contacting the college dispatch offices in case of an emergency. The new smart phone app for the DCCCD offers a way for anyone with the app to be directly connected to dispatch.

We encourage everyone who uses our jogging trail, sports fields and parking lots to carry their cell phones with them at all times and to download the DCCCD AppM to have emergency assistance at the college, or to program the college police number, 972-860-4290 directly into their cell phones.

The college police also will eventually be placing signs and poles throughout the jogging trail advising the public of the college police phone number.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email Chief John Klingensmith or call 972-860-4190.
