Marketing Services

The purpose of the College Marketing and Creative Services Office is to promote and raise awareness of Brookhaven College. We work to ensure the college is positively and consistently represented across all our audiences and to support the institution’s mission and strategic directions.

It is the responsibility of the CMCS Office to manage the internal and external communications programs at the college to ensure consistent messaging, to maintain the college’s reputation and to offer a global view of the impact of and opportunities for different communication strategies. Our office works with any and all employees to create marketing plans for college departments, divisions, events, initiatives, programs, classes, etc., that comprehensively address their needs.

Brookhaven College is a single institution with one identity. While each department or division may have its own personality, it is important to always remember that it is part of the whole.

Why does the college need a CMCS Office?

When employees create their own marketing materials, they can unintentionally damage the image of the college by creating the perception that the college lacks identity, vision and a clear sense of purpose. Using style standards ensures that our external publications are consistent, professional and targeted to our audiences.
