What can be recycled?

Brookhaven College provides separate recycling bins for paper products and for plastic and aluminum.

Paper

Paper products may be placed in the campus recycling zones located in each building. Blue recycling bins for paper are located in labs and offices. Please do not throw plastic or cans in the paper recycling bins.

Aluminum and Plastic

Dispose of your EMPTY cans and plastic in the receptacles next to each vending machine on campus. Please do not throw paper or trash into the can/bottle receptacles.
