The staff of the EXCEL Program is devoted to making your college experience more meaningful.

EXCEL Services

Qualified students are eligible for a wide range of free services through the EXCEL Program:

• Academic advisement
• Career Couseling
• Tutoring and supplemental instruction
• Transfer information and university tours
• Financial aid search and application
• Personal counseling
• Cultural enrichment activities

Qualifying for EXCEL

If you are considering a bachelor’s degree and you qualify, we can provide you a variety of supports that will enable you to achieve greater success. You may be eligible for the EXCEL Program by qualifying under one of the criteria listed below:

• First-generation college student
• Meeting income guidelines
• Physically- or learning-challenged student

Enroll in the EXCEL Program

Visit the EXCEL Program office in the Student Services Center, Building S, Room S124, to enroll. E-mail the EXCEL Program or call 972-860-4626 for more information. The Excel Program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education.

Location and Hours of Operation

The EXCEL Program office is on the first floor of the Student Services Center, Building S, Room S124. Our regular hours of operation are:

• Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
