Tutorial Services and Instructional Support

Providing instructional support for Brookhaven College students is a key component to being “committed to student success.” In an effort to maximize resources to provide comprehensive instructional support, the current services available to our students in a variety of venues have been analyzed. As a result of this analysis, a schedule has been developed that will provide tutoring services in concert with instructional labs in several disciplines located throughout Brookhaven College.

Tutoring services in the Drop-In Tutoring Lab, Room L351, are designed to complement the existing instructional laboratories. The schedule for spring 2008 is as follows.

Monday-Thursday: 9:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Tutoring will be provided for English, preparation of papers, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Tutoring will be provided for English, preparation of papers, chemistry and biology.
