Atrium Gallery
The Atrium Gallery, located in the lobby of Building B, features six exhibits per year. Exhibits consist of work created by professionals in the visual communications fields as well as students and faculty in Brookhaven College Visual Communications programs.

Graphic designers, advertising studios, illustrators and other media specialists exhibit their work in the gallery giving students and the surrounding community an opportunity to see the work these professionals produce. The Atrium Gallery also is home to the state-wide visual communications student juried competition, the Texas 2Show, which exhibits work from students in two-year programs all over the state of Texas. The work is selected by area professionals.

Visual Communications Lab

The Visual Communications Department also maintains three well-equipped Macintosh computer labs complete with laser and color printers, color scanners and DVD and CD R/W drives. The Mac computer courses offer instruction in the latest software currently used in the industry, including Quark XPress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and Director. Students enrolled in the program benefit from scheduled and open lab time in the Macintosh labs.
