Orientation for credit students is designed to introduce you to Brookhaven College. During your orientation session, you will learn about the registration process and the many ways we can help you succeed on and off campus.

New Student Orientation at Brookhaven College

Welcome! You are about to begin a new, exciting chapter of your life, and we are thrilled to share this experience with you! We hope to be a resource as you prepare to come to campus, attend New Student Orientation and begin your first semester here at Brookhaven College. Orientation is the final step in your process for applying and registering for classes, but it is one of the most important. Orientation helps you understand all the resources and services the college can offer to help ensure your success.

Multiple New Student Orientation sessions are scheduled several days before classes begin each semester. Attendance at a New Student Orientation session is required for ALL:

  • First-time-in-college students; and
  • Students with 12 or less college semester hours who plan to take classes for college credit.
