Election Notice

COVID-19 and Dallas County Community College District Board of Trustees Elections

In accordance with increased restrictions imposed by the state of Texas, the city of Dallas and Dallas County in an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19, Dallas County Community College District facilities are temporarily closed. The district is committed to continuing to provide election services through email (tmccarty@dcccd.edu).

Election Information


The Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) Board of Trustees is comprised of seven members who are entrusted with governing and defining the mission of the district. DCCCD board members are elected by the constituents in their districts to serve six-year terms. The elections for each district are staggered and conducted during even-numbered years.

Early voting by personal appearance for the May 2, 2020, trustee election runs from April 20, 2020, through April 28, 2020. The main early polling location for voting by personal appearance is the George L. Allen Senior Courts Building, 600 Commerce St., Dallas, Texas 75202.
