DCCCD Facilities Management and Planning is located in the East Building of the District Service Center at 4343 IH-30 in Mesquite. Facilities Management is responsible for the following areas:
Facilities handles more than 900 projects worth more than $70,000,000 each year. Selected projects are outsourced to preapproved architectural, mechanical and engineering firms. (See sidebar for inquiries as to how to be preapproved for A/E projects at DCCCD. )
The department is committed to using energy efficient and "sustainable design" whenever possible, and works closely with Cedar Valley College's Energy Efficient Green Building Institute to stay abreast of cutting edge techniques.

To be placed on the list of preapproved A/E firms, interested parties should contact the
Facilities Management Department to set up an interview. After the interview the Facilities staff will recommend qualifying firms be placed on the list for selection to do work with DCCCD.
