Associate Degrees

An Associate in Applied Science from CDEC can be transferred to a four-year university and provides a firm grounding in the area of child development and early childhood education.

For those who wish to pursue a teacher certification, our teacher education coursework is just the ticket. Students may complete an Associate of Arts in Teaching, and then transfer to a four-year university to complete their certification.

Our Level 1 certificates provide training to someone who has a degree and wants to enter the field OR to those starting a career in the field who hope to gain marketable skills for employment.
