Beginning March 1, 2019 individuals can schedule to take the HESI A2 exam at the Brookhaven College Testing Center. The HESI A2 exam will be available to take via proctoring between March 23 and March 30, 2019 at the Brookhaven College Testing Center ONLY.
It is preferred to schedule your exam in person. However, you may call the Testing Center at 972-860-4865 to schedule by phone.
Individuals who wish to apply to the HIT Program will need the following in order to pay for the HESI A2 exam with Elsevier: Payment ID Code 14490

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Health Information Technology (HIT) program is a 60-credit hour curriculum that prepares students to identify and use a variety of informational resources and technologies to perform entry-level skills in health information positions.
Students need a wide variety of knowledge, skills and experience to prepare for a career in health information technology.
The program provides basic training in computers, health information content and management, quality improvement, coding and reimbursement, legal aspects of health information, and management of health care delivery systems.
According to the American Health Information Management Association, AHIMA, professionals credentialed as Registered Health Information Technicians have the following skills.
A specialized role for these professionals is as a cancer registrar, responsible for collecting and maintaining data on cancer patients
