  • 1978 - Became a charter faculty member of Brookhaven when the college opened
  • Has served as faculty dean of the Business and Career Programs Division (previously Business Studies), director of the Marketing and Management Center, acting vice president of instruction, acting director of marketing for distance learning, and acting dean of Workforce and Continuing Education
  • Currently serves as a professor of business and management courses and as president of Brookhaven’s Faculty Association

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, California State University-Long Beach
  • Master of Business Administration degree, Northeast Louisiana State University

Awards Won

  • Selected as a 2006 Piper Professor for superior teaching at the college level, one of only 15 professors of Texas colleges and universities selected annually
  • Has twice been honored by his colleagues as Brookhaven College’s Excellence in Teaching award winner, in 1981 and in 2005
