Have you thought about a health career but would rather work in an office than with patients? The Medical Front Office program at Brookhaven College is designed to develop and strengthen office skills for a medical setting. You'll be prepared to work in entry-level office positions with skills in medical terminology, medical office procedures and medical software applications.

You’ll be trained in common terms, office procedures, software, basic coding and insurance within a medical setting. All courses are offered on campus as face-to-face courses at Brookhaven; some courses are also offered online.
“There’s not a thing I don’t use from the information I learned in the Medical Front Office program. The classes did a very good job of teaching skills that we’d really need. We were always learning from people who have worked in the field, not just learned information in a classroom.”

This program may lead to an occupational license for which a prior criminal history may make a student ineligible.
