To apply to the Radiologic Sciences program, you will need a cumulative score of 75 or above on the HESI Entrance Exam. Students scoring below 75 are ineligible to apply to the program.

Applicants are required to take the HESI at the Brookhaven College Testing Center prior to the application deadline. The HESI for Radiology is administered in the Testing Center once every April (dates will be posted on the website). The categories assessed are:

  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Math
  • Grammar
  • Reading comprehension
  • Vocabulary

Your HESI exam score is valid for two years (two applications periods, if necessary). If a student elects to retake the HESI exam, the score for the most recent administration will be used for the application. HESI scores are awarded application points as follows:

  • 100-90 = 5 points
  • 89-80 = 3 points
  • 79-75 = 0 points
