The Visual Communications program at Brookhaven will prepare you for a wide range of career opportunities. Our faculty draw on their knowledge and experience to ensure student success.
Brookhaven College's Visual Communications program is recognized among universities and industry employers throughout North Texas for job-ready graduates who enter the workplace with quantifiable skills and a solid portfolio.
Our multidisciplinary approach offers a solid curriculum that integrates design and communication skills with the latest Macintosh computer technology. Small classes are taught by instructors who are working professionals in the industry.
The Visual Communications Department manages the Atrium Gallery on the Brookhaven campus. The gallery curates six exhibits a year of work by students and professionals in various visual communications fields, including graphic designers, illustrators, advertising artists and other media specialists.
The Atrium Gallery is also home to the statewide Texas 2Show, a juried student design competition for students of accredited two-year colleges and schools across Texas. The annual show is held in mid-October; work is selected by a jury of area professionals.
