In order to be eligible for a bachelor's degree at a Texas public college or university, you must first complete a Core Curriculum of courses.
When completed at Brookhaven College, the Core Curriculum is guaranteed to transfer as a block to any public university in the state of Texas.
You may apply two Russian courses toward your Core curriculum.
• Russia is almost twice as large in area as the U.S.
• Russian is the world’s fifth most spoken language.
• The Cyrillic alphabet may look intimidating at first—but it’s actually not hard for an English-speaker to learn.
• Dostoevsky and Tolstoy are just two of the many wonderful Russian writers.
