  • American Associate Degree Early Childhood Educators is a national, nonprofit association that supports associate degree programs for those who teach and care for young children through age 8.
  • Educational First Steps is a nonprofit organization advocating for early childhood education for disadvantaged children birth to five years old. Eastfield's Child Development program provides college-credit classes for the staff of EFS affiliate centers.
  • Head Start of Greater Dallas partnered with Brookhaven College to establish the first facility of its kind in the nation, an independently operated on-site center on the Brookhaven campus.
  • The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the world's largest organization working on behalf of young children with nearly 90,000 members and a national network of more than 300 local, state and regional affiliates
  • The Texas Association for the Education of Young Children (TxAEYC) is a state affiliate of NAEYC, which also provides an umbrella of support for the Dallas chapter of TxAEYC.
