Damon Johnson, who serves as coordinator for the EMS programs at Irving and Coppell high schools, completed all of his EMS training at Brookhaven College. A paramedic since 2005, he has done both 911 and non-emergency EMS field work. He began working at Brookhaven as an EMS tutor and became an adjunct instructor in 2007.
He currently teaches EMS and paramedic training at Brookhaven, and in the college’s dual credit programs with R.L. Turner, Coppell and Irving high schools. He holds certifications in ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, AMLS, PEPP, GEMS and BLS.
