In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that health care is the fastest-growing industry in the nation — creating more than 22,000 new jobs in one month alone.

The Health Care Career Fair returns to Dallas every spring semester to pair job seekers with job openings. More than 100 hiring organizations attend, representing 15,000-plus jobs in a range of industries, from allied and mental health to pharmacy and geriatrics.

DCCCD provides free career planning and job search services if you need resume assistance or want to practice your elevator speech.

Our Career Services Centers  offer a variety of career-readiness services based on student and community needs.

  • Assistance creating effective resumes, cover letters and thank you letters or email messages
  • Assistance submitting resumes to potential employers
  • Career readiness workshops: resume building, do’s and don'ts in an interview, mock interviews and dress for success
