Rebecca Personett, Ph.D., RN, NEA-BC

Rebecca Personett, Ph.D., received her doctorate in nursing, Master of Science degree in nursing and Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Texas Woman’s University in Denton.

In addition to serving on Brookhaven’s ADN faculty since 2009, she also serves as a clinical instructor for North Central Texas College, providing clinical instruction in critical care for fourth-semester nursing students, and as a clinical instructor in medical/surgical rotation for El Centro College's ADN program. She previously served as a clinical instructor for senior nursing students in clinical decision-making at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Dr. Personett is the co-author of several publications on subjects ranging from obesity to victimization of children and adolescents to behavioral therapy. She is certified as Nurse Executive Advance-Board Certified (NEA-BC), a national nursing certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center recognizing status as a nursing executive.
