Diagnostic TechnicianParkland Memorial Hospital
“I was in the restaurant business for a number of years, from waiting tables to bartending to management. I had heard a lot of good things about the Radiologic Sciences program at El Centro, and I was ready for a career change. I wanted to go into something where there would be high job demand for life, and this program looked good for that.
“What I liked best about the program was meeting diverse groups of people and having firsthand experience with all different cultures. It’s been good preparation for all of the people I’m going to work with in the future, plus it’s something I really enjoy. I think to be successful in this career, you need to have the ability to be able to handle many different tasks at once in a high-paced and possibly stressful environment.
“The quality of instruction was superb, excellent, superlative — any word that means great!”
