Think of eCampus as a virtual campus – a web-based learning system and electronic community center for students and faculty. This customizable, secure portal offers courses, collaboration and communication tools, assessment features and access to a vast array of teaching and learning resources.

If a class has an eCampus component, it will be listed as an eCampus class under class details on My Class Schedule. For more information, please see the FAQ: How do I view class details and/or access eCampus classes from My Class Schedule?

A distance learning college course will transfer under the same conditions as a campus based classroom section of the same course. The seven member colleges of the DCCCD are each accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is very important that you check with the college or university you wish to transfer your course credit to prior to enrolling.
Courses that are designated as OL, do not require on campus visits. However, off-campus proctored exams may be required. See Distance Learning formats for more information
To register online you must be able to log in to eConnect and have documented in the DCCCD:
Note: Even though you meet eligibility requirements for registering online, you may not be able to register for all desired courses due to prerequisite requirements.
Exception: Students who reside outside Texas or outside the United States AND who are taking only distance learning courses are exempt from these criteria
If these criteria do not apply to you, please go to your preferred campus location Admissions/Registrar office to complete your registration process.
