For High School Advisors - How to Enroll Students in Dual Credit

For Summer/Fall Enrollment

Below is a timeline, including deadlines for both summer and fall enrollment.

  • Have every student who wants to take dual credit courses, fill out an online application no later than Jan. 23. If students decide to complete the application on their own, ask them to send you their DCCCD ID number by email.
  • Once you have received all DCCCD ID numbers from students, send that list to your Dual Credit liaison. Please include first and last name, date of birth and the DCCCD ID numbers for each student enrolling in a specific class.
  • The college MUST receive high school transcripts from all students no later than Feb. 6. The high school transcripts will help the dual credit advisor decide which students need to take the TSI and which are exempt from the test.
  • Have all students create eConnect accounts. Have them select “I’m new to eConnect” from the left hand side of the page at https://econnect.dcccd.edu/index.jsp.
