Astronomy Stargazing

Star gazing occurs twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday nights during Fall and Spring semesters, weather permitting. A message is placed on the hotline: 972-860-4301 after 6 p.m. and the location is the plaza between Bldg. X and Bldg. K.

Students learn to read star maps, identify stars and constellations, use the telescope and see planets double stars and M-objects.
