Workforce and Continuing Education

The Workforce and Continuing Education Division is uniquely qualified and prepared to be an innovative and responsive partner in our community. Our goal is to respond to our community's needs for workforce training and lifelong learning.

The Workforce and Continuing Education Division works to provide individual and corporate training programs for all students and for business of all sizes. We have customized workforce training solutions, which can provide an exceptional program of training designed to meet your company's goals. Our programs offer our community and our corporate clients:

  • quality courses for all ages and skill levels;
  • flexible scheduling;
  • industry-recognized certifications;
  • cost-effective programs; and
  • online and classroom training options.

Entrance Requirements

Most Workforce and Continuing Education courses have no specific entrance or examination requirements. Course descriptions will include prerequisites and placement requirements when appropriate. Unless specified, the minimum age for enrollment in classes is 18. Workforce and Continuing Education courses are offered on a noncredit basis (no college credit).
NOTE: Effective Jan. 1, 2012, a new state regulation may require students to have a current bacterial meningitis vaccination before registering for some classes.
