The talented team of student editors, writers, photographers and designers brought home 34 awards, including a sweep of all four categories in the Individual Overall Excellence Awards, at the 2019 Texas Intercollegiate Press Association Convention in Corpus Christi, March 13-16.

Twenty-two awards were for work published in 2018 and a recording-breaking 12 awards for on-site, live contests in competition with both 2-year and 4-year college and university news teams.
