The Testing Center provides a variety of examinations and assessments to students and the community in a professional setting with the aim of supporting student retention and success.
Assessments are placement tests that evaluate a student's preparedness for college-level work and determine which courses a student should initially take. Once a student
applies for admission and completes
pre-advising, it will then be determined if the student meets TSI requirements.
Individuals will be required to complete a pre-assessment activity and watch a video before taking the TSI assessment.
TSI is a state-legislated program designed to improve student success in college. The TSI determines your basic skills in reading, mathematics and writing. Some students may be exempt.
