Tutoring

Our tutoring services can supply a key component of your success as a student. We've built a tutoring schedule that provides instructional support in and around instructional labs in most disciplines.

Drop-In Tutoring

All currently enrolled Brookhaven College students have access to free, open labs staffed with certified, trained tutors throughout the day and early evening. Drop-In tutors are available to assist students with a variety of subjects, including English, ESOL, math, science and more. No appointments are necessary, and students are assisted in small group in labs that are located all around the campus.

J122 Lab

The lab in J122 is a 100-seat computer lab serving the general  needs of the college.  The J122 lab general PC area provides access to the Microsoft Office Suite, Internet access including e-Campus and e-Connect. The lab serves as the instructional support lab for all students enrolled in English for Speakers of Other Languages and foreign language programs. It has the specific software packages supporting the ESOL and foreign language course assignments. There are listening/speaking carrels equipped with software for recording and playing back ESOL and foreign language assignments.

Supplemental Instruction
