DCCCD believes that global awareness is vital for the success and marketability of today’s students. To that end, our colleges actively encourage students to participate in study abroad and other available international engagement opportunities.

Dr. Joe May, chancellor, DCCCD, and Dr. Brijender Singh Panwar, president of PCTC, located in India, sign the Memorandum of Understanding that will serve as a framework as the two schools explore international projects and joint educational programs.

Hosted by the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce and the Dallas County Community College District, the ASEAN delegation also came to the United States to explore the characteristics of effective international regional organizations and to assess global economic issues.
