Diplomas and certificates are awarded three times a year; at the end of the fall, spring and summer semesters. The spring term includes winter classes and summer includes May term classes.
It is up to the student to apply for graduation when the coursework for a particular degree or certification has been completed. Students should work with their academic advisor and degree audit staff to apply for graduation at the beginning of the term/semester in which they intend to graduate. Keeping track of your
program of study audit and meeting with an advisor each semester will help ensure that you know when you are ready to apply.
You will immediately receive a confirmation of your application via email. If there are any issues regarding your submission and/or eligibility, your degree auditor will contact you. Please ensure
your email address in eConnect is up-to-date, so you will receive official communication regarding graduation/commencement.
Once your degree/certificate has been awarded, you will receive an email congratulating you on your accomplishment. A second notification will be sent when your diploma and/or certificate(s) are ready for pickup.
(EFFECTIVE SPRING 2013)
Eligible applicants are those students who have met all TSI requirements, degree/certificate, and general graduation requirements or have those requirements currently in progress. Eligible students will be awarded their degree or certificate of completion at the end of the appropriate term. Graduation applications are to be filed online, before the end of the semester in which the student plans to complete. All applicants who miss the current semester deadline will be asked to apply for graduation the following semester.
