This article appeared in the March 27, 2018, issue of thstudent newsletter.

You've completed (or are completing!) your education, so what's next? DCCCD is going to help you take the next step with the district's free college career fairs.

From March 21 through April 18, each DCCCD college will host a career fair that is open to current and former students and the general public.

When and Where

  • El Centro College from 10 a.m. 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 27
  • Eastfield College from 10 a.m. 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28
  • North Lake College from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday, March 29
  • Cedar Valley College from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 4
  • Brookhaven College from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12

What to Bring

Whichever career fair you attend, you need to be prepared for an interview, so dress professionally and bring copies of your updated résumé.

And perhaps most important, don't forget to bring a great attitude and your bright, shining smile. Make those employers realize they need you in their company.

So get your outfit ready and update that résumé. We can't wait to help you get hired. See you there!
