DCCCD is partnering with New England College (NEC) to make transitioning from your associate to your bachelor's degree easier than ever. This unique opportunity will get you into a bachelor's degree program without ever having to leave the colleges of DCCCD.

NEC is a regionally accredited, private institution with a 72-year history of providing innovative learning solutions.

What Does This Mean for You?

NEC faculty will teach bachelor-level courses onsite at the colleges of DCCCD. NEC is planning to offer two bachelor completion programs for careers in high demand in the Dallas area:

  • Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity (hosted at Richland College)
  • Bachelor of Science in Forensic Accounting (hosted at Eastfield College)

Programs Built To Fit Your Needs

As part of the partnership, NEC will accept all 60 credits you have earned for your associate degree, as well as the potential for transferring up to 30 more credits through additional coursework or prior learning assessments.

Their hybrid programs are designed to fit into your busy schedule, as you will only meet at your college one night per week to complete your bachelor's degree.

Meet With the NEC Team

You can meet with the NEC team during the week of April 29-May 3. NEC representatives will be onsite to introduce themselves and to provide additional degree program information.

You will have an opportunity to speak with NEC about the programs, including information on the reduced tuition rate.

  • Richland College: Tuesday, April 30, 4-6 p.m.
  • Eastfield College: Wednesday, May 1, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
