Sustainability Summit Call for Volunteers

This article appeared in the Oct. 22, 2019, issue of the student newsletter.

Eastfield College is hosting the 9th Annual Sustainability Summit on Friday, Nov. 8, and now is your chance to volunteer!

This event will showcase many reputable speakers in the field of sustainability. Participants will have the opportunity to partake in a vendor exhibit and enjoy free breakfast and lunch.

We are seeking hardworking and passionate volunteers to help assist with various Summit duties. Among the many benefits of volunteering at the Sustainability Summit are:

  • Extra credit and volunteer hours for students who participate;
  • Free breakfast and lunch;
  • An opportunity to hear globally renowned keynote speaker, Ian Garrett;
  • An opportunity to network with local professionals in the area of sustainability;
  • An opportunity to make an impact at Eastfield and in your community.

Please sign-up in advance, if you are interested in volunteering for the Sustainability Summit.

If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact Brittany Wright at or 972-860-7136.
